If you talk about books on urban art, there is no chance our titles are not included. Since 2000, more than 50 books were published and distributed worldwide by Publikat. Starting off with hardcore Graffiti on trains in our first book SURF THE CITY, our titles vary across all genres such as street art, design, and photography. Of course, also monographs about selected artists like HERAKUT, HENDRIK BEIKIRCH, TOAST, or crews such as 1UP or MACLAIM can be found in our portfolio. Unfortunately, since a few years, the golden times for art books are over as a massive amount of fresh content has become available online. And therefore, sales went slower and slower – so we have decided to freeze this division and direct our focus to other projects. I am still very sad about this as books have always been a personal passion to me – and still are.
